The Real Estate Institute of Western Australia (REIWA) has announced an update to its mobile application that will allow home seekers to set up notifications on new home sales and price changes.
The update came after the REIWA app hit 35,000 downloads. REIWA CEO Neville Pozzi said the app already helped many homebuyers in finding ideal properties in Western Australia.
"With the latest update, not only can users search for properties in their desired suburb, but they also have the option to draw an area on a map and save this search," he said.

With the update, users can now also receive real-time in-app notifications of new properties available, price changes, and the sale status of individual properties, Pozzi said.
The update will also enable users to manage all their notifications, offering them to change the frequency of alerts.
Launched in August 2018, the application uses a location-based technology that allows buyers to view properties for sale or for rent in their current area. The app also has an agent-finder tool, which provides an avenue for buyers to find a real estate professional near their location.
Currently, the app has over 32,000 Western Australia property listings. The REIWA mobile app is available in the Apple Store and Google Play store for free.
