Liberty Financial dropped interest rates for its one and two-year fixed term home loans, and increased comparison rates earlier this week.
The non-bank mortgage lender lowered the one-year fixed rate from 4.94% to 4.79%. Its two-year fixed rate is also down from 5.09% to 4.84%, while the three-year fixed rate is at 4.94%.
Comparison rates for one, two, and three-year fixed term rates are at 5.34%, 5.36%, and 5.53% respectively. All three loan periods require a LVR of 85% or below.
In addition, the usual rate lock fee of $750 is waived for home loan applications filed by 31 December.
Liberty Financial now holds more than 140,000 customers to date, its official website stated.
